Like my earrings? Punkin and Millie MADE them. How could I NOT wear them?

Ok. I'm fessing up
I have only made a perfect grilled cheese sandwich ONCE in my life.
This is not it.

--- What Went Right ---

I decided to "come clean" and talk to Da Boss about that little valentine.exe first thing this morning. As it turns out, all my worry was for naught. He told me not to worry about it. (I did learn my lesson, though!)

A wonderfully moist, fudgie brownie with milk chocolate frosting and a cold glass of milk. Need I say more?

My Mom unexpectedly stopped by my work. We had a lovely, although brief visit. She's recently had a bit of seriously good luck come her way, and she seems... "lighter" somehow. Thank goodness for that. She deserves some happiness. She also brought me a stuffed bunny to give to Punkin. Presumably for Easter, although that is more than a month away.

Punkin was all smiles and giggles when I picked her up from daycare, and we had a pretty good night. I was able to get a bunch of laundry done, and start our "don't forget..." list for our trip to Arizona.

I found that there are two more links to my journal out there... one is in Pamie's forum where they are discussing plagarism among journalers. The other is another journal that I haven't had time to investigate yet.

I had a HUGE laugh with Erika during our lunch away from work. We were behind a school bus that had "23" written on a piece of paper in the back window.

Erika: Hey! That is the same number bus I was on when I was in school!
Me: (squinting to read the sign) But it says "Special Ed" underneath.
(pause while that bit of information soaks in)
Erika: (looking at me sideways, and using a funny voice) Well, that's because I was very specially edumacated so I could learn stuff and grow up to get a job at GSC!

I tell you, I just bust out laughing! I continued to laugh for about five minutes, too, much to her dismay. Every time I would get my face and my giggles under control, she would look at me and the mirth would bubble up and spring free once again.

What a wonderful thing to be able to see both sides of the coin...
