My apologies, to Miss Bullock.
This is the only way I'll ever look even remotely like her.

Just another day in paradise
As you stumble to your bed
You'd give anything to silence
Those voices ringing in your head

Now the flowers in your garden
They don't smell so sweet
Maybe you've forgotten
The heaven lying at your feet

There are so many contradictions
In all these messages we send
(We keep asking)
How do I get out of here?
Where do I fit in?

Though the world is torn and shaken
Even if your heart is breakin'
It's waiting for you to awaken
And someday you will --

Learn to be still

--- Virtual Tour, Virtual Work ---

For those of you who have been just sitting on the edge of your ergonomic swivel chairs with the adjustable seats and backs to see pictures of where I spend my time away from home, wait no more.

Behold the splendor that I call "My Apartment" and what GSC calls my workstation.

This would be the view from the doorway to Da Boss's office. Windows anyone?

This is where I spend my workday. You'll see I have a hallway, but no door, which is fine with me. The arrow at the top of the screen indicates where Erika sits. She's just a holler (or a whistle) away.

The arrow at the bottom of the screen is pointing out what I refer to as a little bit of heaven, otherwise known as Goldie's Hot Chocolate and a Cinnamon Chip scone. There is really no better way to start my day. (Unless I'm enjoying my hot cocoa and warm scone at Goldie's because I have a day off).

Also on my desk you will see my "Frank" (Franklin Planner) sitting on my scanner, a bunch of pictures of Punkin, and my ratty, gray "grandma" sweater for when it gets cold in my little world.

The plants are perched on my file cabinets, and "my" closet is just to the right of the upper most arrow.

The snowflakes go up around the holidays and stay up until the Spring.

See that glare on the monitor? Sometimes, in the mornings, I have to actually close the blinds for a couple of hours. That monitor is pretty large and just the right size for me to kind of hide behind as people approach, too.

This is the sunshine streaming into "my apartment." It makes things nice and toasty in the morning. It seeps into my bones and keeps me warm until sometime between 11:00am and 12:00 noon.

Thanks for stopping by! Come again soon! Time for me to get back to work...
