Hey Funky Wiggles!

Cinderella said to Snow White, "How does love get so off course?"

Oh, I added to my wish list today, too.

Personality test, anyone?
My results
Like just 3% of the population you are a PROBER (Dominant Introvert Concrete Feeler )--curious, passionate, driven, and probing. You're the kind of person who can't leave well enough alone. You have a very strong personality and a sense of adventure. And you'd rather go out and experience things foryourself than take someone else's word for it. Some people probably think you're a maniac. People have a hard time believing you're an intelligent person. Perhaps there's a reason for this? Time will tell.

(yes, I found that link from Bev Thanks, Bev!)

Who were you in a past life?

Think you're depressed?

Punkin words
We're pleased to report that she still has a couple of words that need a bit of translation when spoken by Punkin. Knee-nex (kleenex) and Yo-yo (radio). *phew* She's still a toddler and not a teenager (although, lately, I'm beginning to wonder...)

This

Did I mention that I survived Computer Programming Logic and that my final grade was a "B"?
Did I also mention that I scored 91 (of 100) on the final, and 17 (of 20) with the extra credit on the final? I'm a little proud of myself, yes indeedy...

That

There is a lock on Punkin's bedroom door. She has taken to locking herself in her room (and occasionally OUT of it) when she wants to be by herself. It is easy to pop the lock with the "special key" (an unbent paperclip). We realize, however, that that practice could prove dangerous, and tonight Hubby wondered out loud about what he could do about it. I had heard that someone had switched the doorknob around and put the lock on the outside. Not that we'd lock her in her room, but the solution seemed like a good one in the short term. That is, until bedtime. I was doing my best to remain patient with a dawdling, stubborn toddler and she pressed the button in on the front of the door and shut it. (even though I repeatedly asked her to not to do that in an ever increasing tone).

I just sat there and let it sink in that this charming little three year old just proved that I'm not quite the smarty-pants I thought I was.

The Other Thing

I was (finally) able to get a few looming projects accomplished at work today. (Now I only have about 500 undone things hanging over my head.) That's a good feeling, too. Tuesdays (even if they are "virtual Tuesdays") are one of my most productive days during the week. Mondays (even "virtual" ones) are the days I sort of settle in, prioritize, and ease into the week. That is, unless there is a half day meeting or other big "event" planned.

I also crossed off a couple of the looming tasks at home, too, and I'll finally be able to get the rest of my Christmas presents sent out tomorrow. (because I wrapped them tonight) Jeans have been ordered for Hubby, and Frango cookies have been ordered for G.G. I also did a load of laundry and made stew for the crock pot tomorrow. (made with help from Hubby) I'd get more done, but I should get to bed soon.

I'm not very eloquent tonight, and I apologize. Maybe I can accomplish that tomorrow.
