--- Self-imposed Honey Do List ---

Hubby and I had Good Friday off.

Things I should have done

  • Keep Punkin home from school, spend the day playing and watching Blue's Clues and Elmo and about 5 minutes of The Little Mermaid.
  • Hang decorative objects on my kitchen wall.
  • Sort through and pack up the items that are going to The Salvation Army
  • Write entries for these pages
  • Clean the bathrooms
  • Dust the rest of the house
  • Vacuum
  • Laundry
  • Ironing
  • Balance Checkbook
  • Surf the Internet for information on Diabetes
  • Any one of a hundred errands

    Things I did
  • Take Punkin to school
  • Read a book
  • Watched a movie
  • A little laundry, as little as possible
  • Caught up on sleep
  • Packed up stuff for The Salvation Army
  • Two errands

    • I ended up taking Punkin to school so that I could have some stolen time to myself. When I got home I crawled into bed and slept for two hours. I ate breakfast and read a book while Hubby worked on the Big Computer Switch-a-roo. That kept him pretty busy every waking moment last week, and kept me off the computer for almost the same amount of time.

    I did throw in a load or two of laundry and sat down to read a book. I ate lunch and took another two-hour nap. Then we collected ourselves, set out to do two errands and picked up Punkin from school.

    It was a lovely day with just the perfect combination of being lazy and getting a couple of things done. More days like that would be wonderful, but I'm still looking forward to getting back to work on Monday. Call me crazy.
